8 Great Pace Tips

1. Build in a “sit and soak it in” moment
Gaze at the castle, listen to the Main Street music, pay attention to architecture detail, ride the PeopleMover, sit by the water in World Showcase, or grab a bench and people-watch.

2. Don’t rope drop and close the park every day
That can work once, but not every day. Choose either an early morning or a late night, not both.

3. Use shows as built-in rest stops
Great slow-down choices include, Hall of Presidents, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo, Frozen Sing-Along, and Beauty and the Beast.

4. Take a real resort break
Go back to swim, nap, change clothes, have a quiet lunch, or just sit in the lobby. Disney resorts are part of the vacation, not just a place to sleep. Best time to break = 2-4pm

5. Schedule a “no park” or “half park” day
Disney Springs, resort hopping, pool time, mini golf (included with your package), a character meal, a monorail/skyliner/boat ride can still feel very Disney without the pressure.

6. Slow down with snacks, not just meals
A Dole Whip, Mickey pretzel, popcorn bucket refill, or coffee stop can become a memory when you actually sit and enjoy it.

7. Choose atmosphere over attractions sometimes
Not every magical moment is a ride. Sometimes it is the music, flowers, boats, parades, fireworks, or watching a child meet a character.

8. Let go of “getting your money’s worth” by doing everything
At Disney, value is not measured by steps, rides, or exhaustion. The best Disney days often have room to breathe.

I will be your Pixie Dust Pace Coach, and will curate itineraries with all or some of the above.

Stop and smell the flowers. Less rushing more magic!
